Christmas is a time of warmth, gratitude, and generosity. A moment when we pause and ask ourselves: Whose life can we brighten today?
At OPRASHI, we believe that sustainability is not only about protecting pollinators and biodiversity — it is also about caring for people. This year, our contribution to social sustainability took a beautifully meaningful form: donating honey to children in SOS Children’s Villages Croatia.
More and more of our hive adopters chose to donate all or part of the honey from their adopted hives to children growing up without parents or without adequate parental care.
This gesture goes far beyond a donation. It represents community, compassion, and shared purpose. Each jar of OPRASHI honey that reached SOS Children’s Villages carried not just sweetness — but the message that these children matter.
SOS Children’s Villages provide a safe, family-like environment where children can grow with love, stability, and support. Your honey brought them a reminder that they are valued and remembered.
This initiative connects nature and society: the work of our pollinators and your desire to give back combine into one powerful Christmas story.
SOS Children’s Villages is part of the international network SOS Children’s Villages International, founded in 1949 in Austria, supporting children worldwide.
Our vision is to expand this partnership to other countries where OPRASHI initiative is most needed.
If you would like to donate part of your honey harvest or adopt an OPRASHI hive for 2026, we invite you to join us.
