Bees are essential to the ecosystem, but they are becoming an endangered species

Protect the bees, protect the future.

As the primary pollinators of plants, bees are necessary for the reproduction of plant species and food production. Nearly 75% of agricultural crops, and even 90% of wild plants, depend solely on pollination. We are talking about almost all fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds.

Without bees, plant reproduction would cease. Many plant species would become extinct, followed by countless animal species. Such a loss would trigger a catastrophic chain reaction in ecosystems, leading to dramatic declines in plant, animal, and ultimately, human populations.

Can you imagine how expensive food would be if bees became extinct? We already know that the economic value of bee pollination worldwide is estimated at around $500 billion annually according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. In Europe alone, bees pollinate crops worth €265 billion each year according to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

Bees are essential! Their role in our planet’s ecosystems is irreplaceable. Simply put, without bees, our food security and the health of our planet would be at risk.
